The clients' design brief could be summarized as: simplicity is strength. He considered the Bestevaer 56 "Tranquilo" a fantastic design, although he opted for even more simplicity without the teak deck. The straight bow and the long waterline ensure excellent sailing. Waterballasttanks are added for extra comfort. The yacht has been launched in 2009 and has already seen many miles including trips to the North of Europe and Spitsbergen.
The interior Lay-out is based on long time cruising. The interior is very light due to use of light materials.
